Mrs. Angela Renee Blackmon Blackwell, 60, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home. She was born December 22, 1962 in Lancaster, a daughter of Polly Jenkins Williams and the late Roger B. Blackmon. Mrs. Blackwell attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved music, fishing, going to the beach and camping. Mrs. Blackwell loved to crochet, cooking and her fur babies. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Blackwell will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Lambert officiating. Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband of 41 years, James E. Blackwell of Lancaster; her mother, Polly J. Williams of Lancaster; two brothers, James Allen Lowery and his wife Ashley Rich and Roger Burt Blackmon, Jr. all of Lancaster; two sisters, Sandra Darlene Cauthen and her husband Joey and Carla Hill all of Lancaster; her step-mother, Sandra Kay Blackmon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Burt Blackmon, Sr; her step-father, Noah E. Terry; a brother, Tony Scott Lowery; and her grandparents, Stoy and Flossie Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
