Alyce C. Howe, 70, of Roscoe passed away October 13, 2022. Born April 29, 1952 in Chicago, the daughter of Herman Hanert, who passed when she was two and Alice and John Gross. Married Thomas Howe on February 9, 1998 in Rockford. Retired as a Unit Secretary from Swedish American Hospital. A member of the Ross-Pearson VFW, Post 5149 Ladies Auxiliary. Alyce was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and creating one of a kind crafts and gifts. She loved animals and was devoted to her dogs. Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Thomas Howe; daughters, Melissa (Chris) Worland, Renee (Mark) Forberg, Stephanie Stone; step daughter, Patty Henckelman; grandchildren, AJ Stone, Gregory Stone, Reed Worland, Fenton Worland, Kaelen Forberg, Riley Forberg; sisters, Glenna Boardman, Barbara Snyder; and dear friend, Bobbie Richardson. Predeceased by parents; brother, Russell Hanert; and sister, Diane Soldano. Celebration of life will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe.
