Born on January 24, 1929, she is the daughter of the late John Henry Kidd and Ella Esther Kidd. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Theron Phillips; one son Gary Lee Phillips; five brothers Hollis Kidd, Jesse Lee Kidd, James Archie Kidd, Lynden Edward Kidd; three sisters Grace Marie Sumers, Pauline Duff, and Jewel Alene Terry; one grandson Eddie Sharpe; one granddaughter-in-law Joan Phillips; one grandson-in-law Chris Bowling. She is survived by her six children Kenneth Allen Phillips and wife Lois, Lois Irene Honse and husband Paul, Darrell Phillips and wife Hazel, Brenda Lou Sharpe and husband Edwin, Ronald Calvin Phillips and wife Debbie, and Debra Ann Carson and husband James; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Anita Phillips; along with many other special family members and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida from 4 PM until time of funeral services to begin at 6:30 PM with Bro. Rick Slaven and Randy Wunderlin officiating. Music will be provided by Randy Terry and Hazel Phillips. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 10 AM at the Hazel Valley Cemetery in Oneida, Tennessee. Pallbearers will include grandsons and great-grandsons.
