Allen W. Daniels, age 77, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. He was the husband of Jeanne (Szczepan) Daniels. Born in Amarillo, TX, and raised in Northfield, VT, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Florence (Neill) Daniels. Al served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during two tours of the Vietnam War. During that time, he became a sonar engineer. When he returned home, he earned his Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Johnson & Wales University. Al began his career with Raytheon in Portsmouth as a Systems Engineer, later joining Goodrich Aerospace in Vergennes, VT. He then relocated to Albuquerque, NM where he spent most of his career as Division President and General Manager for Goodrich Aerospace, Space Flight Systems. Al was an avid golfer, enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking. His committal service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1 pm at the RI Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
