Alfred’s Obituary Alfred Jernigan, age 61, of McDavid, FL passed away at his residence on November 18, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1961 in Century, FL to Clayton and Agnes “Kitty” McCawley Jernigan. He was a truck driver most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Jimmy Jernigan and Harold Jernigan. He is survived by his wife, Linda Cooper Jernigan; his sons, Steven (Brandy) White of Walnut Hill, FL, Brandon Jernigan (Adam Fanion) of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Lee Marvin Jernigan of McDavid, FL and Mike Beals; his sisters, Annette (Fred) Crews of Pensacola, FL, Cindy (Jack) McCraw of Pace, FL; his grandchildren Cassidy (Michael) Smith, Alexis White and his 2 great grandchildren Hazel Smith and Meela Smith. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Rodney “Buddy” Cooper of Repton, AL; Rickey (Kathy) Cooper of Pensacola, FL; Shannon (Martha) Cooper of Repton, AL; sister-in-law Gloria Cooper Brantley of East Brewton, AL and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sue Godwin. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11 AM at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogia, FL with Bro. Ted Bridges officiating. Interment will be at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Smith, Kevin Maher, Wesley Morris, Josh Heist, Robby Barrow and Jeffrey Steadham. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of all arrangements. Read More
