Aiden Blaine Trauber, 20, of Lubbock, Texas passed away December 20, 2022. Aiden was born December 15, 2002 in Lubbock, Texas to Charles and Keely Trauber. He graduated from Frenship High School in 2021. Aiden was studying aerospace engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Aiden had a witt unmatched by anyone his age. His sense of humor charmed those around him and brought joy to his loved ones. A seeker of knowledge, Aiden pursued a deep understanding of every topic that interested him. He had a passion for music, hunting, and explorations of worlds beyond our own, such as Star Wars and Marvel. Aiden was an avid animal lover, and he showed compassion for all living beings, especially the people he loved. His compassion manifested in a strong moral compass that compelled him to uphold his values in any given situation. Above all, Aiden was his dad’s best friend. Aiden was loved wholly and deeply by many. Loved ones include his parents, Charles and Keely Trauber; grandparents, Charles A. and Betty L. Trauber; grandparents, Bill and Kathy Robbins; aunts Beverly Miles, Cynthia Logan and husband Mark Logan, Kay Fish, Angela Chesnut, and Tawny Novosad; uncles Bobby Robbins and wife Vanessa, and Jimmy Chesnut and partner Toni Morris; many, many loving cousins; and great aunts and uncles. Aiden was preceded in death by sister Addelynn Brinae Trauber, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Memorials are suggested to the Haven Animal Care Shelter and the South Plains Widlife Rehabilitation Center, both based in Lubbock, Texas, to honor Aiden’s love of animals. A celebration of Aiden’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Sanders Memorial Chapel in Lubbock, Texas. Please celebrate the life of Aiden by visiting www.sandersfuneralhome.com.
