She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, former member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Ginger retired from Liberty Mutual with eleven years of service. Ginger was a 1971 graduate of Fairfield High School and a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor Degree. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a kind and loving sister. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie R. Keiffer and her father, Salvador Ceravolo. Ginger is survived by her Husband of 45 years, Randall Kornegay; her son, Matthew P. Kornegay; her daughter, Leah M. Kornegay; her sisters, Marilyn Ceravolo, Lena (Paul) LaRussa and Julie Ceravolo; her sisters-in-law, Wanda (Eddie) McCool, Debbie (Stan) Tyra, and Sharon (Roy) Simpson. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens. Father John Fallon will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
