Roosevelt Williams, 67, of Peoria departed this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Generations of Lincoln Nursing Home at 11:49 a.m. He was born on May 29, 1953 in Gunnison, MS to Solomon Powell and Frankie B. Williams they precede him. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, yard work, and painting the house. Roosevelt loved to be comical and spending time with family and friends. He leaves to cherish his precious memory: one son: Tony Bean of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter: Casandra Bean of Beulah, MS; five brothers: Levi Williams, Johnny Williams, Oscar Williams, all of Peoria, Floyd (Losie) Powell of St.Louis, MO, and Jessie (Arlene) Powell of Ruleville, MS; eight sisters: Stella Powell of Gunnison, MS, Kathreath Powell, Diana (Lloyd) Risby, Juanita Powell, Shelly Williams, Georgia Smith, Dorothy Williams all of Peoria, and Kathy Powell of Bloomington, IL; Best Friend: Sylvia Younger; and a host of family and friend whom will miss him dearly. In Addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: two sister and two brothers. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel at 4:00 p.m. with a public visitation held one- hour prior at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Alvin Riley Sr. of Sovereign Grace M.B.C. will officiate.
