Mrs. Martha Lorena Bonds age 87, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Bonds will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Byrd and Pastor Steve Sanders officiating. The interment will follow at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox, AL. Mrs. Bonds was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Edward Quates and Rena Elizabeth Salter Quates, husband Roger Bonds, son Mike Bonds, husband Jerry Waller and sister Thelma Blair. She is survived by her sister Eva James, brothers Hurston Quates, Hayward Quates (June), Don Quates and Larry Quates (Ann). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Christian Academy Memorial Fund, 5481 Main St., Millbrook, AL 36054. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing.
