Gaye’s Obituary A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gaye Ann Bosecker will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mrs. Bosecker, 71, of Colfax, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Edward Altenberger and Colleen Kimmel Alenberger; one daughter, Barbara Khourie; one brother, Edward Shane Altenberger; and one sister, Loretta Sue Wright. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband of forty-two years, Lloyd Bosecker; five sons, Daniel Bosecker and his wife, Kimberly, Chris Altenberger, Lloyd Bosecker and his wife, Karen, John Bosecker and his wife, Marilyn and Michael Sheffer and his wife, Tammy; two daughters, Nancy Fraley and her husband, Carl and Vicki Shafer and her husband, Donnie; one brother, Wayne Altenberger; two sisters, Kathy Tapley and her husband, Harold and Teresa Terrell and her husband, Tommy; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
