Obituary Ms. Doniece Dudley, age 71, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. Private Graveside service on Saturday, November 7, 2020 12:00 PM at the Perote Cemetery in Perote, Alabama; under the direction of the caring staff of Scott’s Chapel Hill Mortuary “Because We Care”. Doniece Marie Dudley was born May 21, 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama. The first of five children born to Alberta Johnson Simons. She is a testament to her upbringing that hard work and determination were the keys to a successful life. Her lifelong commitment to family and friends is a model to all of us of the power of love. When she was needed she never hesitated to do all in her power to make the situation better. Her grandchildren and great grand child were her heart and she never missed a chance to let them know. She is preceded in death by her mother: Alberta J. Simons; three brothers: Alfonso Allums, Michael Crawford, and Leroy Allums, sister: Viola Allums; aunts: Jeannie J. Knight and Bettye J. Price and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her so dearly. Left with aching hearts but also gratitude for being in her life are her son: Charles Dudley; daughters: Chaurice Greer (Michael) and Arcola Mallard; sister: Ramona Cox (Hobson); brother: Silas Crawford, Jr. (Karen); sister: Effie Mae Baskin; grandchildren: Chadwic Foster, Javier Dudley, Arrian Mallard, and Zhamia Mallard, Lia Rogers; great grandson: Ayden Foster; step-father: Walter Simons, Jr.; aunts: Myrtle J. Walker, Ramona J. Cox, and Arcola J. Perry; and special friend: Marrietta Thomas-Shannon. We will be forever blessed by having had her in our lives.
