Mr. Clyde Pershing Slaton Jr. of Arab, Alabama; passed away in the evening of Thursday – November 12, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Mr. Slaton was born on December 8, 1948 in Marshall County, Alabama to the late Clyde Pershing Slaton Sr. and Aldie Mae Staggs Slaton. Mr. Slaton was a retired mechanic and welder for Vulcan Material in Georgia. He is formerly of Fairmount, Georgia and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and good ole’ fashion country cooking. Clyde leaves behind to celebrate his life; brothers, Arnold Jester, James Jester and Don Slaton; sisters, Pat Veeder, Kathleen Higgins, Joani Black, Jeni Scott, Sue Bernard and Peggy Slaton. In addition to his parents; Mr. Slaton is at last reunited with his one true love; wife, Adrienne Sue Cooper Slaton; brother, William Hall and sister, Evelyn Rodriguez.
