Charlotte Lee Hooton December 12, 1939 – November 07, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Charlotte Lee Sheley Hooton, 80, of Huntersville, passed away Saturday at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. Born December 12, 1939 in North Vernon, IN, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Verna (Perdue) Sheley. During her working years, Charlotte was employed in the healthcare field. Her hobbies included quilting, crafting, sewing, and collecting inanimate elephants. Charlotte is survived by her children Crystal Lee Grayson of Tampa, FL, Jack Charles Grayson and wife Linda of Macon, GA, Carrie Jo Lang and husband Chris of Huntersville, and Cheryl Lee Farr and husband Randy of Hickory, NC; eight grandchildren, Daphne, Kasey, Kyle, Charlotte, Collin, Brandi, Cheyenne and Courtney; and two sisters Donna Savage and Dot Amos. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jo Hooton and her grandson Hunter Lang. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Brownsburg Cemetery, Brownsburg, IN. There will be no public viewing.
