Vicki’s Obituary Victoria Gordon “Vicki” Owens, 72, of Hertford, NC, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in The Edenton House. Mrs. Owens was born in Fort Worth, TX on May 28, 1948, and was the daughter of the late William Howard, Sr. and Effie Juanita Carter Gordon. A homemaker, she was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrel Wilson Owens. Surviving are her two daughters, Shaye Smith and husband, Andy, of Hertford and Kasey Owens and husband, Chris, of Rio Rancho, NM; two sons, Justin Owens and wife, Donna, of Baton Rouge, LA and Jerrel Grant Owens and wife, Crystal, of Fort Worth; two brothers, William Gordon, Jr. and wife, Lois, of Edmonton, Canada and Gregory Gordon of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Aidan, Noah, Ewan, Chloe, Robin, and Colton; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
