October 16 1930 October 23 2020
Dorla Dean Williams, 90, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, October 23, 2020 at her home in Richland. There will be a Graveside Service on Sunday, October 25th at 3:00 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. Mrs. Williams was born October 16, 1930 to the late Ellis and Addie Mae Branning in Plain, MS. She lived most of her later life in Rankin County. She loved her town of Richland and worked hard to make it a better place. She was a long-time member of Richland United Methodist Church, a member of the Richland Garden Club, and was the president of her Home Owners Association. Her home and yard were her passion and she took joy in keeping them both immaculate. Those who knew her knew that she was known for her attention to detail. She had a servant’s heart and volunteered at Richland Library and also at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Williams and her brother, Ellis Branning, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Candy (Skip) Houck of Richland; son, Teddy Williams of Richland; grandchildren, Heather (Jerry) Smith, Trey Houck, Jordan (Libby) Williams, and Lauren (Danny) Flores; and greatgrandchildren, Selby Smith, Sam Smith and Addie Smith.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs Dorla Dean Williams October 16 1930 October 23 2020.
