Obituary Larry Franklin Sanders was born on December 5th, 1940, and passed peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 28th, 2020, at his home. Larry was a Master Electrician, and was employed by J.M. Clayton for 27 years and then opened L.F. Sanders Electrical Supply and Contracting Company, which he owned and operated for almost 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Barfield Sanders, his children, Debra Basilici (Donnie), Danny, and Diane Cash (Jodie). Larry is also survived by five grandchildren, Jeremy Basilici (Ashley), Jessica Basilici Riggins (Ryan), Travis Basilici, Ennio Sanders (Courtney) and Victoria Herring (David), and twelve great grandchildren. Larry is remembered by his children and grandchildren as honest, hardworking and always ready with a joke or witty comeback for every occasion. Private family services for Mr. Sanders will be held at a later date. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
