Mr. Jack Dempsey Brownlee May 21, 1929 – October 24, 2020 Share this obituary View/Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Tuesday, October 27, 2020 Frisco Cemetery 11:00 a.m. A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 for Mr. Jack Dempsey Brownlee, age 91, of Richton, at Frisco Cemetery. Mr. Brownlee passed away on October 24, 2020 at his daughter’s residence in TN. Bro. Bobby Shutt officiated the service with burial following. Pallbearers were Bill Shelby Jr., Derek Shutt, Ron McLeod, Jay Shelby and Bill Shelby Sr. Mr. Brownlee was a retired US Navy Veteran having served 23 years in service during WWII, Vietnam and the Korean conflict. He also retired from Runyan Machine Shop in Pensacola, FL after working for many years. Mr. Brownlee was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Rae Brownlee; son, Jackie Ray Brownlee; grandson, Billy Jack Brownlee; parents, John and Verda Brownlee; several brothers and sister. He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Bobby) Shutt of Sweetwater, TN; son, Jerry Brownlee of Richton; sister, Clarcy Mae Walley; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
