Christine Buie of Denton, North Carolina June 24, 1951 – October 30, 2020 Mrs. Christine “Punkin” Lemly Buie, age 69 of Denton went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2020 at her residence. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 3 at Summerville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Thomas Frizzell and Rev. Flynn Richardson. The family will see friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service at Sunmmerville Baptist Church and at other times after Saturday will be at the residence of the daughter Wendy Buie on Anderson Street. Mrs. Buie was born June 24, 1951 to Leroy Lemly and Lucille Hickman Lemly. She was a retired employee of Councill Craftsman Furniture Company and later worked at the Classic Resturant in Denton where she loved her job and everyone that worked there. They were like her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother Junior Lemly and a grandson, Tanner Lamb. She is survived by her children, Jeff Buie and wife Cassie and Wendy Buie all of Denton; her father Leroy Lemly of Southmont and grandchildren, Payton Buie, Natalie Buie and Dalton Lamb.
