Charles Harry Keen, 71, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his home in Jackson, MS. Family and friends will gather at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 for a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. Harry was born to Charles Edward Keen and Annie Lucille Cone Keen on February 08, 1949 in Jackson, MS. A 1967 graduate of Wingfield High School, he was a veteran of the US Marines serving two tours in Vietnam. He retired from USPS in 2010 where he was employed as a mail carrier. In his spare time, Mr. Keen coached baseball as the Commissioner of Baseball and Softball at the Levelwoods, Sykes, and Candlestick parks. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie Keen; sister, Diane Hughes; and brother, Ralph Keen. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dianne Keen; sons Brian (Britiani) Keen of Jackson and Josh (Jennifer) Keen of Brandon; daughter, Jessie Keen of Ohio; brothers, Larry “Zeek” (Kim) Keen of Harrisville and Greg (Yessy) Keen of Columbia; sister, Sandria (Stephen) Kohl of California; grandchildren, Ainsley Keen, Parker Minyard, Peyton Minyard, Ethan Keen, Hunter Keen, Knox Walker, and Sloan Walker; and great-grandchild, Jasper Moffat.
