Iuka – Terry Jean Sanders Cummins, 67, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his home. He was born February 21, 1953 in Hardtner to Robert and Doris (Seifert) Sanders. Terry was adopted later by Winford and Virginia Cummins. Terry married Gay (Lukens) Cummins on July 21, 1972 in Medicine Lodge. They were married for 48 years. Terry graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in 1971. He attended Hutchinson Junior College for one year. He worked as a tool pusher in the oilfield. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family enjoying life.. He is survived by his wife, Gay; Children, Buffy Lynn (Derrick) Slocum of Iuka, Robert Clay Cummins of Hays and Brandy Lee (fiance’, Gary Collins) Cummins of Pratt; brother, Richard Dean (Susan) Sanders of Pratt; grandchildren, Jonathon Slocum, Liam Wyatt-Jean Slocum, Rilla Amber-Lynn Slocum and Ariel Streight; and many nieces and nephews. Terry is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bonnie Faye Sanders. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Iuka Methodist Church, Iuka. Memorials may be made to Ariel Streight Adoption Fund in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
