Simeon’s Obituary Simeon Nicolaidis, a resident of Dearborn Heights, passed from this life on August 27, 2020, at the age of 95. Simeon was the beloved husband of Eleni for 78 years, and the loving father of Antigone (Antonios) Efthimiadis, George (Sotiria) and Anastasia (Ted) Hatzimihail. He was the cherished grandfather of Anastasia, Nick (Helen), Tommy, Donny (Kellie), Christina (Alex) and Jennifer (Edmond), Simeon was the proud great-grandfather of Kristen, Julianna, Diana, Anthony, Sophia, Eleni and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his sisters Anastasia and Sophia. Simeon was the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends, and all who knew him. There will be visitation on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 36375 Joy Rd. (W. of Wayne Rd. / E. of Newburgh) from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with a Trisagion at 7:00 p.m. Simeon will lie instate at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 until the time of his Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. His final resting place will be St. Hedwig Cemetery.
