IUKA – Ruth A Drake, 70, passed away August 20, 2020 in Iuka, KS. She was born November 16, 1949 in Atwood, KS to Wayne Gatlin and Darlene (Grant) Gatlin. Ruth graduated Atwood High School in 1967. Ruth married Randel Drake July 19, 1969 in Atwood, KS. They were married for 51 years. She was a book keeper for many area business. She was a member of the Iuka United Methodist and was the church organist for many years. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Fred Gatlin. Ruth is survived by her husband Randel, son, Chris (Jodi ) Drake; Preston, KS., and daughter Jennifer (Glenn) Brunkow of Wamago, KS. There are four grand children Madeline and Caroline Drake and Isaac and Tatum Brunkow. Sister-In-Law Karen Gatlin and a niece Hannah Gatlin of Chicago Ill. Visitation will be Sunday, August 23 from 1 pm to 8 pm with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 pm at Larrison Mortuary. Funeral service will be 10:00 am at Iuka United Methodist Church, Iuka KS, with Pastor Louis Keeling Officiating. Burial will follow in Iuka Cemetery, Iuka. Memorials may be made to the Iuka United Methodist Church or Pratt County 4H Foundation in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd. Pratt. Ks 67124.
