Obituary Mrs. Regina Cooper Johnson, age 53 of Hays passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Roger Jennings and Pastor Donnie Shumate officiating. Burial will be in Round Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born July 12, 1967 in Randolph County. She was a member of Round Mtn. Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a brother; Kelly Boggs. She is survived by her husband; Johnny Johnson of the home, a daughter; Kristina McNeil and husband Joshua of Purlear, her parents; Roger and Brenda Watkins Cooper of North Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Kaylee, Karey, Kenleigh and Edwin Kole McNeil and two sisters; Kelly Royal and Husband Jamie of Purlear and Alice Davis and husband Tim of Asheboro.
