Obituary Mrs. Regina Cooper Johnson, age 53 of Hays passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Roger Jennings and Pastor Donnie Shumate officiating. Burial will be in Round Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born July 12, 1967 in Randolph County. She was a member of Round Mtn. Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a brother; Kelly Boggs. She is survived by her husband; Johnny Johnson of the home, a daughter; Kristina McNeil and husband Joshua of Purlear, her parents; Roger and Brenda Watkins Cooper of North Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Kaylee, Karey, Kenleigh and Edwin Kole McNeil and two sisters; Kelly Royal and Husband Jamie of Purlear and Alice Davis and husband Tim of Asheboro. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Cancer Treatment Center of Atlanta (CTCA), 600 Celebrate Life Parkway, Newnan, GA 30265.
