Patricia “Patty” Lynn Whitt, 65, of Medway passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Springfield. She was born May 26, 1955 in Columbus to the late Oscar Whitt and her loving mother, Mildred Whitt of Enon. Preceded in death brother Richard and Furbaby Megan. Patty retired from the Air Force and worked later as an Xray Tech. She served on the Honor Guard. Patty volunteered her time at places like Springfield Cancer Center, Springfield Hospital, 4 Paws for Ability, OBX Turtle Rescue in N.C., and many others . She enjoyed traveling, photography, reading, drawing and writing short stories as well as spending time with friends, family and Peppy. Patty is survived by her mother, a brother, and sister-in-law, William “Bill” and Marilyn Whitt, Nephew Jacob Whitt, Nieces Kyla and Erica Whitt, great Nephews and great Nieces, Furbaby Peppy and friends. A Private Family graveside service will held in Medway Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Service for family and friends to be held at later date once Covid restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be given if desired at Springfield Cancer Center, 4Paws for Ability(Xenia) or Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Patty Whitt.
