Jackson, 71, passed away at her home in Neffs, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Marge was born on July 22, 1949 to Elizabeth and Clifford Burdess of Glencoe, Ohio. She graduated from St. Clairsville High School, Class of 1967. She married Mark Jackson on March 21, 1975. Marge enjoyed vegetable gardening and wine making. More than anything else, she loved her dogs and sitting on the porch with friends and family. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Raymond Burdess and infant brother Clifford, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mark, sisters Julie Neitzelt of Glencoe and Anna Jones of Belmont, many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends that she considered to be family. Services will be private for the family, due to the current Covid situation and out of a level of concern for those that we care for. Interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens with services by Pastor Larry Helms. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Marge’s name to the Belmont County Animal Shelter.
