Lisa’s Obituary Graveside services for Lisa T. Popwell, 60, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Tylertown Cemetery II with Brother Dudley Williamson, Brother Jerry Terrell, and Brother Sammy Popwell officiating. Mrs. Popwell passed away at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born July 10, 1960 in Columbia, Mississippi to the late Barbara Darr and Glenn Tagert. She was also preceded in death by her brother Bruce “Skipper” Tagert. Mrs. Lisa was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with children, cooking, and baking cakes. Her upbeat loving spirit will be missed by many. Survivors include her husband of 40 years Doug Popwell; sons Zachary (Tammy) Popwell and Zane (Brittany) Popwell; granddaughter Donnis Popwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family. Pallbearers are Marvin Brister, Larry Holland, Keith Thomas, Jason Mallette, George Darr, and Barry Petrie. Honorary pallbearers are Walthall County Board of Supervisors and the Deacons at Shiloh Baptist Church.
