Mr. Joshua Lee Chisum May 13, 1987 – August 15, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Memorial Donation Mr. Joshua Lee Chisum, age 33 of Appleton Road, Brewton, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 in a Pensacola, Florida hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Brewton, Alabama. Mr. Chisum was a 2005 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, and was employed by Provaleus of Brewton, Alabama as a security software tech for Ally Bank. He was the only child of Mr. Terry Lee Chisum and Cindy (Craig) Williamson of Brewton, Alabama; one step-sister, Faith Williamson of Robertsdale, Alabama; his living grandmother, Dorothy E. Reaves of Brewton, AL; his aunts, Christy (Terry) Blair and Kandy (Brock) Ellington of Brewton, AL; uncle, Grant (Debbie) Kirk of East Brewton; aunts, Kathy Nieto of Cleveland, OH and Donna Fountain of Andalusia, AL; cousins, Christian and Chase Ellington, Matthew, Noah, Jason and Ashley Kirk, Brooke Mixon, Joe, Jenny and Stephanie Nieto; and one special cousin he though of as a sister, Crimson M. Miller. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie Lee and Beuna Mae Chisum; maternal grandfather, R.M. “Bobby” Quinn. He was a self-taught musician who played electric and acoustic guitars and the saxophone. He enjoyed gardening, music and working with computers; and was a history enthusiast . He was a very deep thinker. Cooking was his favorite hobby. Funeral services will be held at 1st Open Bible Church on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Roy Skidmore and Bro. Johnny Lambeth officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1st Open Bible Church on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Pallbearers: Ricky Page, Chris Fields, Will West, Jay Bell, Billy Strength, and Bill Peavy. Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
