Albert, 77, of Lynwood, US Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6th. Beloved wife of Frankie (nee Grant); Loving father of Gregory Taplin, Joi (Deshaun) Albert-Harris, LaShawn Brownlee, Demetria Williams and Ursala (Robert) Kilow; Dear brother of Otis Dolton, Zack Albert, Michael Dolton, John Conway, Grace Mebane, Hattie Mae Conway, Lulu Mae Conway, and Glorest Ann Dolton; Cherished grandfather of 13, Great-Grandfather of 3; Devoted son of the late Zach and Charlie Mae Albert. John was a retired Postal Worker after 32 years of faithful service. Private cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the Double Tree Hotel, 5000 W. 127th Street in Alsip, (just West of Cicero Ave on 127th Street), on Saturday, August 29th, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
