Joan Sanders’ Obituary Joan Sanders Pearson, 57, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Monday, September 17, 1962, in Jackson, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031 Mrs. Pearson was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She worked at Boswell and Region 8 as a Direct Care Worker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Sanders. Survivors include one son, Slay Rankin of Magee; one daughter, Cassy Rankin Martin of Magee; two grandchildren, Leah Martin and Nicholas Martin; mother, Rebecca Sanders; one brother, Jerry Sanders of Florida; three sisters, Frances Robinson (Stanley) of Magee, Mary Nell Little (Danny) of Magee, and Barbara Sanders Broadhead of Mendenhall; and a host of other family members and friends.
