Irene Moschetti, 91 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family,at her home. Born Sunday, June 2, 1929, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Bonk. Irene was raised in Manhattan. After graduating from Cathedral High School, Irene would meet and marry the love of her life, Joseph Moschetti. The couple would start their own family and then move to Staten Island. With a growing family, they would settle in Old Bridge, NJ 57 years ago. Irene raised her children in Old Bridge, and eventually go to work at TJ Maxx in Marlboro, where she worked for more than 20 years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, especially with her Thursday night card group which was together for more than 50 years, and more recently she enjoyed going to the Old Bridge Senior Center. What Irene loved the most was being surrounded by her loving family. She was a caring woman, who will be missed by all those that were blessed to have her in their lives. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph, who passed away in 2009. Irene is survived by her loving children, Joanne Bacon and her husband John, Frank Moschetti, Barbara Moschetti and her husband Ron Bulmer, Karol Leiro and her husband Rich, Diane Decker Arambula and her husband Eddie, Joseph Moschetti and his wife Rosanne, and Robert Moschetti and his wife Karen, by her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Zain, Matt, Steven, Andrew, Alex, Mike, Blake, Jeffrey, Lucas, Gabby, Morgan, Dylan, Connor, Hailey, Eily, and William, by her adoring great grandchildren, Savannah, Cara, Dakota, Zoey, and Sydney, and adoring great great grandchild, Aurelie. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment will be in Forest Green Memorial Park, Morganville, NJ.
