Cullison – Gwendolyn Alene Culver, 69, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 24, 1950 in Pratt to Loyd Vernon and Vada (Cawthon) Hoff. Gwen married Lewis Roger Culver on October 27, 1966 in Great Bend. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2015. Gwen was a homemaker. She attended First Assembly of God and was a member of the American Legion. She enjoyed cooking, camping, crocheting, sewing, fishing, hunting and processing and spending time with family. She is survived by her daughters, Reatha (John) Jones and Cheryl (Reggy) Mendenhall both of Pratt and Shawntel Culver, Reatha Culver, Vada Culver and Caitlin Culver all of Cullison; brother, Lyle Hoff of Pratt; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gwen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; son, Roger Culver; and sister, Janet Lindsey. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2020 at Larrison Mortuary with Jerry Hodges presiding. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Cullison. Memorials may be made to St. Jude or Prairie Home Health and Hospice in care of Larrison Mortuary.
