Boley June 26, 1952 – August 15, 2020 Share this obituary Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Galen Paul Boley, age 68, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his home. He was born on June 26, 1952 in Marceline, Missouri the son of Paul (Pete) Boley and Ida Jane Moscoe. He grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1970. On April 24, 1976 he was united in marriage to Trudy Oldenburg. They made their home in Blue Springs and Independence before moving to Warsaw in 2014. Galen worked as an telephone lineman for several years. He later owned and operated Boley Fiberglass and Boat Repair for over forty years. He is preceded in death by his father, one brother Farren Boley, a sister Linda Lambirth and a son Billy Brian Boley. Galen is survived by his wife Trudy, of the home, his mother Ida Young, of Blue Springs, Missouri, five children; Jean Paul Boley, of Shell Knob, Missouri, Kimberly Anderson, of Kansas City, Missouri, Tracy Boley of Jenkins, Missouri and Samuel Boley, of Blue Springs, Missouri, five sisters; Blenda Smith, of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, Lana Cook, of Blue Springs, Jenell Crooks, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Crystal Ogle, of Blue Springs and Angela Dysart, of Dover, Missouri, four brothers; Micah Boley, of Blue Springs, Timothy Young, of Edwards, Missouri, Carl Boley, of Brookfield, Missouri and Randy Boley, of Brookfield, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, Missouri.
