Frank’s Obituary Frank Sowers Foster, Sr., 90, of Lexington passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Foster was born in Cabarrus County on September 10, 1929 to Willie Alexander Foster and Minnie Swink Foster. He worked in furniture making his entire life and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ethel “Teenie” Pierce Foster; three brothers, Joe Foster, Lewis Foster, and Homer Foster; and a sister, Lena Veigh Foster Fritts. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Marshall Foster (Susan) and Frank Sowers Foster, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Tyler Foster, Kayla Foster, Laheri Foster, Aiden Foster, Michael Foster (Sherry), Steven Foster (Samantha), and Derek Foster (Angela); nine great-grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Luke, Abigail, Summer, Stephen, Brandon, Christopher, and Stephanie; two great-great grandchildren, Mason, and Colton, and a host of nieces and nephews.
