She was born December 3, 1934 in Charles Town, WV, the daughter of John T. Longerbeam and Lottie M. Kohn. Dora cooked for Billie’s Restaurant in Ranson, WV for many years. She was a wonderful mother whose love for everyone was always unfailing. She was a member of Middleway Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Kelican, grandson Stevie Chapman, sister Louise James and brothers Granville Longerbeam, Robert Longerbeam and Frank Longerbeam. Surviving in addition to her husband, Charles, are her daughters, Sandra Kay Bond and husband Jerry of Kearneysville, Brenda Chapman and husband Bucky of Kearneysville, sons Douglas “Dickie” Kelican of Kearneysville, Terry Kelican and wife Ann of Harpers Ferry, two brothers Harry Longerbeam and wife Frances and Donald “Buster” Longerbeam and wife Sis. Also surviving are grandchildren Wayne Bond, Angela Alvarez, Amanda Chapman, Troy Kelican, Carla Kelican, Kevin Kelican II, Daytona Woodson, Curtis Kelican, Austin Kelican, Brady Kelican, Christian Kelican and Shiley Kelican: 12 grandchildren, 13 great grand children and 9 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00AM at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will be held in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in Bolivar, WV. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
