Donna’s Obituary Donna Sue Meyers, 74, passed away due to natural causes on August 20, 2020, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, Wyoming. Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2020, and will continue until her funeral service which will be at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020, all at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Donna was born on December 28, 1945, in Havre to Donald and Sophie (Mitchell) Meyers. She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Sangrey school through her elementary years. She attended Flandreau Indian School for junior high and high school, graduating in 1963. Donna returned to Rocky Boy, and that same year, she married Harold “Bomber” Watson. They had two sons before moving to Denver for Bomber’s education for two years. They then moved to Missoula so Bomber could finish his body work apprenticeship and had another son there. They returned to Rocky Boy, and within a year, Bomber passed away. Donna moved to Billings and then to Missoula for legal secretarial training, and then moved back to Billings to work. There she met William LaForge with whom she had a son. The couple later divorced, and Donna returned to Rocky Boy. While home, she married Melvin LaMere, and they had a son and daughter. Melvin passed away in 2001, and Donna traveled. After returning to Rocky Boy one more time, she married Calvin “Butch” Chiefstick in 2005, and he passed away in 2017. Donna loved spending time with friends and family. She was a free spirit, going where her heart directed. She adored her family and cared for them and her home so that it was always welcoming. Donna enjoyed reading, especially romance novels, and visiting. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Bomber Watson, Melvin LaMere, and Butch Chiefstick; former husband, William LaForge; parents, Donald and Sophie Meyers; and sister Patricia Meyers. Donna is survived by her children, Harold (Mary) Watson and Ty (Ivy Parker-Watson) Watson, all of Rocky Boy; DJ Watson of Washington; Matthew Mark (Lisa) LaForge of Crow Agency, and Aaron LaMere of Rocky Boy and Nathel LaMere of Spokane, WA; thirty-five grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Michael Sr.) Badgley of Havre, Jewel Nadine (Myron Sr.) Oats of Rocky Boy, and Cynthia (Ronald Sr.) Bigback of Busby; brothers, Gilbert Bruce, David Joseph, Donald Darryl (Roberta), and Henry George (Raquel) Meyers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
