Don Arlen Baxter, 61, of Tulsa, died on Sunday, August 23, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1958 to parents Donnie Elbert Baxter and Ava Annette Ashley Baxter in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Don graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville in 1977. He completed his education with the Tulsa Welding School in 1991 and worked professionally as a welder. Don traveled for work and welcomed loved ones on his many adventures. He took great pride in being a father and grandpa. Watching his grandchildren grow into their own little personalities brought him a tremendous amount of joy. When not spending time with family, you could find Don on his motorcycle, reveling in the freedom of the open road. Don is preceded in death by his father, Donnie Baxter and his grandparents, Ruth and Auda Ashley. He is survived by his mother, Annette Baxter, his daughters, Brittany Baxter and Sierra Vanpelt, his grandchildren, Amelia, Lyric and Isaac, his brother, David Baxter, his sister, Donna Lacey and his nieces Melody and Natalee Baxter.
