Obituary On August 12, 2020, Carolyn Anderson passed on from this life. Joining her late husband David Charles Anderson and parents Frederick and Verna Boulanger. She was a loving mother of Emily Anderson and Joseph Anderson and dear sister of Phillip Boulanger and Paul Boulanger. Carolyn believed in community and service. Carolyn dedicated long hours to fund raising, counseling, coordinating local children art camps. Once her children graduated, she refocused her efforts into local government and equal rights for workers. After retirement, her focused shifted once more to assisting senior citizens with activities and nutrition. Carolyn was an artist of multiple disciplines: pianist, photographer, and illustrator. Her most famous quote was, “mistakes are only opportunities for creativity” Her death was sudden and unexpected; just as in life. Her adventurous heart was continuously in motion. She will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road, Dearborn, MI 48128. Carolyn’s remains will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery, 19975 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48203 at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carolyn’s family in her honor.
