Brady John Snelson of Rolla, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the age of 25. Brady was born in Rolla, Missouri on February 15, 1995, a sweet, spirited, red headed baby boy, born to Greg and Tommi (Woolsey) Snelson. He was a Rolla High School Class of 2014 graduate, where he excelled at sports. From an early age Brady played football and baseball. Although his greatest sport was wrestling with his little brother, whom he lovingly nick-named “Trey Savage.” Brady loved his brother so much that he had “Trey Savage” tattooed on his arm, this meant so much to Trey. Brady loved hunting and fishing with his dad, and papaw. He was a third-generation carpenter, and really loved his trade. He would say many times “it was in his blood.” He took great pride in his work and loved working for Brock Meadows, whom he respected greatly. He was a remarkable young man. His witty sense of humor, irresistibleness, his sympathy and compassion to everyone in his life including strangers, and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. The appreciation and devotion that he showed for his family was unparalleled to any other. His legacy of love, charm, and benevolence will live on in the hearts and souls of his family and friends forever, and that laughter – infectious! Brady attended the Core program in Branson, it was during his time at Core that he found Christ through the 12-step program and was saved. Brady John Snelson is survived by his father, Greg (Erica) Snelson, of Rolla, MO; mother, Tommi Woolsey, of Waynesville, MO; brothers, Trey “Savage” Guill, of Waynesville, MO, and Garrett Green, of Rolla, MO; grandparents, Stanley Snelson, of Rolla, MO, and Betty Johnson, of Cuba, MO; Aunts, Rebecca (Charles) Bell, of Rolla, MO, Jeanann (Rusty) Richards, of Lee Summit, MO, Debbie Saebens, of Ownesville, MO, and Terri Pohlmann, of St. Louis, MO; uncles, James Preston (Emily) Woolsey, of Owensville, and Keith Crews, of CA; a host of extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Vicki Rae Snelson; stepmother, Amy Snelson; maternal grandfather, Preston Woolsey, and step-grandfather, Ed Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11AM at the Rolla Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pat Spencer officiating. Interment will be at the Thomas Fairview Cemetery in Rolla, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Chapel on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 5-7PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials to the Core Program in Branson, Missouri be made. Cards are available at all James & Gahr location.
