Apolinar was born on January 8th, 1933, in Rio Verde, Tamp., Mexico, to Juan Gonzalez and Paula Martinez. Apolinar was a man of all trades. He lived the ranch life and was a hard worker with a strong will. He knew of no exceptions or excuses to get up early and work. If you wanted something, you’d have to work hard to achieve it. He was a real cowboy. He is survived by his two children Apolinar Gonzalez Jr (Mary Lou) and Christina Irene Gonzalez. Grandchildren Amber Lopez (Hector), Brittney, Matilda Marie Sanchez (Charley), Carrie Marie Torres (Alex), Amanda Marie Sanchez, Luis Garza (Cynthia), Beau Garza (Yvette), Sergio Trevino, Briana Marie Anderson (Richard) and his brother Rosalio Gonzalez. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home 1002 East Harrison Avenue Harlingen, Texas 78550 (956)364-2444.
