Aleta “AJ” Jean Tolliver, devoted mother and grandma, age 86, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, August 27, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 20, 1934 to the late Corda (Blevins) and William Tolliver in Nashville, Wisconsin. She was a manufacturer and owner at KY Industries, until she retired in 2018. She was a member of Kentucky Colonel Organization, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the local VFW. AJ is survived by her daughters; Carla Eberwein, Joey Stafford, Sheila Corbin, grandchildren; Joe (Jennifer) DiFederico, Comfort (Mel Dillard) Bair, Chicara Russell, Felicia (Zach) Nickell, Starla Wing, Craig (Shawna) Walker, Lacey Meyer, Kassie Lother, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, beloved brother; Bill (Emma) Tolliver & his family, close family friend & business partner; Larry Walters, Ric Russell, her cherished cat; Lucy, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Lyn Meyer, 3 sisters, 2 sons-in-law Thom Eberwein & Kenneth Stafford, and great-granddaughter; Alycia Wing. A walk-through visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd, Englewood, OH). AJ’s service will begin at 12:00 pm with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. Due to COVID-19 the family requests that you wear a mask and maintain social distancing guidelines.
