Sandra Wolf August 22, 1954 – June 26, 2020 Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Sandra Wolf, age 65, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. She was born on August 22, 1954 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of Nora (Libigs) Lubkeman and the late Erich Lubkeman. She attended the Antioch, IL schools, graduating from Antioch High School with the Class of 1972. Sandy married Donald Wolf on July 11, 1981 at All Saints Lutheran Church in Fox Lake, IL. The couple celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in 2019. Prior to marriage, Sandy was employed as a legal secretary. She was a Navy wife spending many years with her husband and family in the Tidewater area of Virginia. She moved with her family to Michigan in 1995. She was employed by Angeli Foods, First Lutheran Church and most recently Krist Oil, retiring in 2016. She was the assistant treasurer for the Iron River Township. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River. She was active and passionate about the Iron County Relay for Life. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, and volunteering with local programs. She loved to travel and spend time with family, especially her granddaughters. Sandy is survived by her husband, Don; son, James Wolf of Comstock Park, MI; daughter, Susan (Dylon) LaMay of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Ashtyn and Haleigh LaMay; mother, Nora Lubkeman of Pleasant Prairie, WI; sisters, Dianne (Bill) Del’Ve of New Palestine, IN and Janet (Eric) Gaylor of Antioch, IL; brother, Rick (Kim) Lubkeman of Billings, MT; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Wolf. A Christian service and interment will be held at Resthaven Cemetery on July 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Masks and Social Distancing will be required at the cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society’s Iron County Relay for life and the Iron County Cancer Unit.
