Rodney James Verdile, a lifelong resident of Beacon, entered into rest on July 9, 2020 at home. He was 53 years old. Rodney was born on December 30, 1966 in Beacon, the son of the late Louis R. and Jacqueline P. Colbert Verdile. He graduated from Beacon High School in 1985. Rodney was an avid Yankee and Jets fan. He also had a love for music and spending time on the Hudson River and crabbing with family and friends. Rodney was the 9th child of his large family. He is survived by his siblings, Lu Ann (John) Guerra, Kim (Albert) Dodd, Jolene Verdile, Jeffrey (Margaret) Verdile, Anthony (Lisa) Verdile, Renee (John) McCormick and Julia Verdile; his many nieces and nephews; his uncle, Joseph Verdile and aunt and uncle, Regina and Thomas Norman. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Damon and James Verdile and his sister, Robin Verdile. Rodney will rejoice in heaven with his parents and siblings as they reunite again. Funeral arrangements will be private. A memorial of Rodney’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
