Roberta (Leo) Sharer Age 66, on July 12, 2020, of Shaler Twp., born on Oct. 3, 1953 to Robert and Kay Leo. Known to close family and friends as “Sissy” or “Bobbie”, from childhood, Roberta had problems with walking and her vision. Despite these and additional health issues later, Roberta led a courageous, consistent work life. She was most proud of her service with the McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority and kept a scanner close by until her last days to monitor the activities of her former buddies. Later, Roberta worked at St. Margaret’s Hospital helping people schedule outpatient procedures. As her own health continued to decline she performed similar work from home until her retirement last year. What Roberta enjoyed most in life were helping others, visiting family and friends, tending to her pets and crafting seasonal decorations. She is survived by her devoted brother, Richard Leo (Beverly), brother Andrew (Tony), a niece, nephew, their families and numerous cousins. The family wishes to thank Maureen and Monarch Hospice for their excellent care. Funeral Private. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Roberta Sharer please visit our Sympathy Store.
