Haskins Of Deposit, NY Rita Haskins, 92 of Deposit, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Barnes Kasson SNF, Susquehanna, PA. She was predeceased by her parents Harry & Madelyn Gransbury; husband Edcil L. Haskins; and daughter and son-in-law Janice & Earl Swartwout. Rita is survived by her children; Linda & Terry Moore, Donald & Crystal Haskins, Mary & Tom Mills; grandchildren John & Ann Lee, Brian Lee, Tyson & Chrissy Haskins, Jessica & Tyson Martin, Nathan Mills (Holly Andrews), Matthew Mills (Michaela Marotti), Ashley Swartwout, Earl Swartwout Jr., Curtis Swartwout; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Bruce Haskins; sister-in-law Melva Hart; many nieces and nephews. Rita worked in the local Deposit banks throughout her career and retired from NBT Deposit in 1990. She was a charter member of the local VFW Auxiliary. Rita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was adored by her family. A private funeral service will be held at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY. Interment will be held in the Hambletville Cemetery, Deposit, NY.
