The sunrise of a beautiful life began on May 25 1952, in Montgomery, Louisiana.  John Calvin Jackson, was born to the proud parents of Earl Venson Jackson Sr., and Helen Louise Monette Jackson.  On June 26, 2020, God dispatched His angels to come and escort John Calvin Jackson, home.

John inherited a rich legacy of family and character.    His conversion to Christianity occurred at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Montgomery, Louisiana, under the leadership of Pastor Essie Harris.

John spent his formative years attending J.W. Preceding his departure from this earth are his son, Demetrious Dyonne Jackson; his parents, siblings, paternal and maternal grandparents.

Left to cherish and continue his legacy are: his devoted wife, Cecelia Jackson; his devoted son, Phillip Jackson, Sr. (Nalo); Seven granddaughters, Dominque, Sierra, Kailyn, Iyanna, Karlie, Devin, Karmen; One grandson, Phillip Jackson II; one great granddaughter, Karsyn.  He was also Paw-Paw to Angelique, Trey, Tina, Samaya, Mary and Kayson; five sisters, Johnnie Mae Jackson, Palzetta Beard (Lonnie), Dewanna Jackson, Francis Jackson and Dinnetta Jackson; nine sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; special friends, Paley, Bruce, Westley, Richard Jr., Gerald and other friends.
