Michael’s Obituary Michael C. McGowan, age 62, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday July 28th, 2020. He was born in Alliance, Ohio to parents William and Judy (Barker – deceased) McGowan. Mike retired after 38 years of faithful service to UPS. He was an avid music lover who enjoyed listening to all types of music. He also enjoyed ATVing, cooking and old movies. He was a very kind, loving and compassionate person. Some of his fondest memories were the cruise to Hawaii and trip to Iceland. Mike will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Kljun), for 22 years; his children, Melissa Quinlan, Michael (Amie) Ferencz, Jonathon Olszewski, Michael (Karen) McGowan, and Stephen McGowan (deceased); his cherished grandchildren, Jazmin, Colin, Mackenzie, Kayla, Oliver, Ally and Emery. His dad, William McGowan; siblings, Tracy McGowan and Jennifer (Brian) Kendro; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike is also preceded in death by his late wife, Susan. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when restrictions are lifted and family and friends can join together.
