May Marie Bates passed away peacefully on July 23, 2020 in the home her husband built 65 years ago. She was 96. May was a loving Mother and homemaker, her special holiday family get togethers will be fondly remembered by those of us who survive her. May was a true member of the greatest generation, having worked at a munitions factory during World War II. She permanently lost her hearing in one ear after an accidental explosion at the plant. May had many collections and hobbies, and crocethed lap robes for veterans and nursing homes. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim Sr.; her daughter, Carol Ann Coulter; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. May is survived by her dear son Jim Jr.; her grandson Jason(Stephanie), Matthew(Kerri); great grandsons, Elias, Silas and Sagan and her great great granddaughter, Gaia. Funeral Services were private.
