Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Renteria; father, Hilario Alvizo; and mother, Refugio Hernandez. She is survived by her sons, Jose Antonio Renteria, Jose Juan Renteria, Jesus Renteria, Jose Martin Renteria, Roberto Renteria, Ricardo Renteria; daughters, Patricia Renteria, Margarita Renteria, Susana Renteria, Rosario Renteria, Martha Renteria, Irene Renteria and Leticia Renteria. Maria de Jesus Alvizo de Renteria, fue una mujer respetosa y elegante. Sus hijas e hijos la describen como una mujer fuerte, todo una luchadora, guerrera que nunca se dio por vencida. Siempre en frentando todos los problemas con fuerza y fe de Dios. Su corazon estaba basada en tener una familia unida. Su prioridad fue sus 13 hijos. Ahora nos deja sus lindos recuerdos y sabiduria. Nunca sera olvidada por ser unica y toda una dama. Funeral services are as follows: Tuesday – July 7, 2020: Visitation 4-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 7pm by St. Cecilia Catholic Church clergy. Wednesday – July 8, 2020: Visitation 8-9am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, departing at 9:30am to St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 125 W. Whittier St., San Antonio, Texas 78210 for a 10am Mass. Graveside services at San Fernando Cemetery III following the 10am Mass. ***Funeral services will be escorted by police in vehicle procession*** Print Obituary
