Obituary Lelia Ann Huffines Brown, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Alamance County to the late Charlie Kiser and Lelia Mae Hall Huffines and was married to the late Jack Irvin Brown who passed in 2008. Ann worked for Glen Raven Mills folding socks in the hosiery mill for over 20 years before she retired. She was a devoted member of Wicker Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her sisters; Helen Hensley (Bobby), Frances Stutts (Edgar), Doris Ward (Ronnie) and Lala Dameron, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Jack Irvin Brown, parents; Charlie Kiser and Lelia Mae Hall Huffines, brothers; Banks Huffines, Billy Huffines and Arnold Huffines, two infant sisters and brother-in-law; Walter Ray Dameron. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 30, 2020 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ricky Lewis with the burial to follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome to come by the funeral home from 1:00 – 5:00PM on Wednesday, July 29th. Memorials may be made to Wicker Street Baptist Church, 512 Wicker St, Burlington, NC 27217.
