Obituary Kelly Jo Nankivil of Owatonna, MN passed away peacefully at Homestead Hospice House July 6th at the age of 58. Survived by her husband Erik and children Chris, Brad and Jordan, daughter in laws Natasha (Hemann), Ashley (Schettler), 3 grandchildren Aria, Gannon and Bennett, brother John and sister Angela (Bars). Preceded in death by her parents John and Shirley Burns. Kelly was born in Lincoln NE March 19, 1962. A Graduate of West Aurora High School (IL) and College of St Marys in Omaha where she earned her Nursing degree RN. Erik and Kelly married August 14, 1982. Kelly worked in nursing for many years before moving to Owatonna where she worked for Jostens starting in 2006 and retiring in July 2017. She enjoyed genealogy, fishing, coffee with the girls, traveling and sitting on a beach in Florida. Kelly will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clinton Falls, MN. A Memorial service is set for Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Brick – Meger Funeral Home (1603 – Austin Road Owatonna.) Friends may greet the family on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 4-7 pm and one hour prior to the memorial service at Brick – Meger Funeral Home.
